Welcome to the John P. Curley Victory 2018 page
In my tenure as fulltime Freeholder, I have been the liaison to Human and Social Services, Senior and Veterans Services, Monmouth County Health Department, Monmouth County Police and Fire Academies and Brookdale Community College. Regardless of my committee appointments, I continue to work hard to better the lives of our less fortunate, disabled, unemployed, hungry and homeless as well as those who suffer from mental illness and addiction. I am keeping up my unparalleled efforts on behalf of our seniors, veterans, fire fighters, and law enforcement officers.
As I have for nearly a decade in Freehold, I will fight corruption as I have in the past, most notably at Brookdale Community College.
I will continue to make sound choices that better our community as I have with the Farmland Preservation Deal.
I will continue to make sound fiscal decisions as I did leading the fight to sell our counties’ failing nursing homes saving $57 million as well as balancing budgets through my 23-point program designed around outsourcing, job consolidations and zero-based budgeting.
Monmouth County continues to face challenges, and I look forward to standing beside you to fight for our beautiful county. I will fight against the creation of a bulky solid waste transfer station in Howell, protecting that community from the onslaught of traffic and environmental dangers that an approval would bring. Just as I fought to get Monmouth County out of the nursing home business, I will fight to keep County government out of the Airport business, doing all the I can to prevent the Board of Chosen Freeholders from purchasing Allaire Airport.
I will continue to call on my public service experience as well as 35 years of family business experience in the private sector to best serve the people of Monmouth County and maintain it as the wonderful place it is to work, play and reside.
I’m asking for your vote this November as I continue to put people ahead of party and serve everyone here in Monmouth County.
